Morocco is only a few km from Spain, but is not being hit by the credit crunch. The Mediterranean coast there attracts a great number of Morocccan summer visitors both from the hot South Moroco, and Europe. There are excellent roads and facilities and a fascinating culture attracting English and European visitors in cooler months- a good investment. see www.moroccanholidayrental.com . Resale from people who bought several properties off plan avoids a lot hassle and there could be bargains about from Englich owners in the current climate?

I would recommend buying a property in Bulgaria, somewhere near the sea or in one of the ski resorts, as the prices has go down significantly. However once again i would myself buy a property only if i had the cash money. Getting a mortgage now is very difficult and risky !

Hi,
You can now get some very good value properties on the south of Spain as sellers are now more motivated to do a deal as exchange rates are in their favour if they are going back from the euro to sterling ! Check out this website www.mijasrealestate.com property starting from 75,000 euros upwards |

For me the best region of Central Portugal is around Tomar and Abrantes, historic cities, towns and villages and Portugals second biggest lake right on the doorstep,
for more info on central Portugal take a look at the gekkoportugal site. www.gekkoportugal.com |
