The Budapest suburb of Érd (106m (348ft); pop. 44,000) lies on the right bank of the Danube 20km downstream from the city center. Érd grew rapidly between the 1991 and 2001, and is considered one of the most affluent communities in Hungary. The house is situated in the more leafy part of town with no highrises and many country walks in the area. The M6 motorway to the south of Hungary and the M7 motorway to the west of the country are within easy access of the property.
